NECESSITY OF THE PARTICIPATION OF THE INFECTIOUS DISEASE PHYSICIAN IN THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL AID TO THE SICK IN THE AMBULATORIES OF FAMILY MEDICINE

Abstract

The necessity of participation of an infectious disease physician in provision of medical care in the primary сare is shown. Advice to infectious disease physicians is a very important and necessary factor in outpatient family medicine to provide organizational, methodological and preventive care, measures to combat infectious and invasive diseases.

We propose new approaches to the reorganization of PMC on the basis of family medicine, namely the creation of clinics of integrative family medicine, based on clinical outpatient clinics, with an advisory clinic and diagnostic center, which would employ focused specialists of various specialties, including infectious diseases.

The article presents the issues pertaining to the quality of curative, diagnostic and preventive work of general practitioners – family doctors independently and cooperatively (consultations) with doctors-infectionists in the centers of primary medical aid, surgeries of infectious diseases, clinics of integrative family medicine with the aim of early diagnostics of infectious and invasive diseases, and specification of further medical schedules for each patient.
