Abstract

Insufficient knowledge of physicians with the nature of purulent-septic pathology of cellular tissue of the retroperitoneal space is the main reason for late diagnosis and poor results of treatment. The most objective and clear, especially topographic and anatomical data in the diagnosis of acute inflammatory diseases of the cellular space of the retroperitoneal space can be obtained on computed tomography with contrasting.
The casualty of the clinical case is that, with intra-abdominal placement of the appendix, the cause of the paracular abscess was the fistula of the appendix’s apex, which opened into paracolar tissue, which determined the need for appendectomy 17 days after the reopening of the paracular abscess, which in general contradicted the canons of clinical surgery, but to our mind was the only correct.
