Evaluation of quality of life in patients with colorectal cancer, complicated by obstructive ileus with different types of surgical interventions

The aim of the work: to evaluate and compare the quality of life of patients with colorectal cancer, complicated by acute ileus with different types of surgical interventions.
Materials and Methods. We analyzed the immediate results of quality of life in 55 patients with colorectal cancer, complicated by ileus in the stage of decompensation and subcompensation with different type of surgical interventions.
Results and Discussion. Almost all patients covered by our research in the first 2 months after surgery experienced worsening of physical and emotional state due to adaptation of stoma presence, but in terms of 6 months and 1 year, patients of the first group noticed the improvement of their condition.
