The aim of the work. Studying the influence of excipients on the pharmaco-technological and organoleptic characteristics and to select the substances that provide the best indicators of the quality of the tablet mass and effervescent tablets of acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol and ascorbic acid.
Materials and Methods. We studied 3 glidants substances, sweetening agents and flavouring substances. The experiments used tablet press (Korsh XL-100, Germany), modern equipment for determining the bulk density of powders (ERWEKA GT, ERWEKA SVM 202, Germany), uniformity of mass of single-dose preparations (Mettler Toledo AB54-S, Switzerland), resistance to crushing (ERWEKA TBH-525 WTO, Germany), flowability (ERWEKA TAR 200, Germany), disintegration of tablets (ERWEKA ZT 33, Germany). Experimental data were subjected to statistical analysis by the method of dispersion analysis.
Results and Discussion. As a result of the statistical processing of experimental results, the influence of excipients on the pharmaco-technological parameters of mass for tableting (bulk density, density after compression, Carr's index, flowability, slope angle), tabletting process, tablet appearance, uniformity of mass, resistance to crushing, flowability, disintegration of tablets, transparency of the solution, its smell and taste were investigated.
Conclusions. It was studied the influence of excipients from glidants, sweetening agents and flavouring substances on the pharmaco-technological and organoleptic properties of effervescent tablets of acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol and ascorbic acid. Based on the results of the analysis of variance, a series of advantages has been ranked. Using the sum of the ordinal numbers of factor levels in the ranked ranks of the benefits, the best substances in the composition of effervescent tablets are selected. Aerosil 200, sodium saccharin and lemon flavoring provide the best quality indicators for tablet power and effervescent tablets of acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol and ascorbic acid.
