MARKETING RATIONALE FOR THE EXPEDIENCY OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW PLANT-BASED MEDICINAL PREPARATION FOR TYPE TWO DIABETES MELLITUS TREATMENT

The aim of the work. Rationalizing in the context of marketing the expediency of the development of a new plant-based medicinal preparation for type two diabetes mellitus treatment.
Materials and Methods. The marketing method, methods of monitoring, logical generalization, grouping and graphical method of investigation were used in this work.
Results and Discussion. A comparative analysis of the assortment and economic availability of oral hypoglycemic drugs of synthetic and vegetable origin presented on the pharmaceutical market ofUkraine has been conducted. It has been found that among synthetic drugs biguanides and sulfonylureas are characterized by the broadest assortment and economic availability. Compared with synthetic drugs, plant-based medicines are more affordable, but their assortment is very limited.
Conclusions. According to the results of the research which has been carried out the prospects for the development of a new domestic plant-based medicinal preparation in a solid dosage form for type two diabetes mellitus treatment are rationalized.References
