Сьогодні галузь ветеринарної фармації має усі можливості для того, щоб зайняти та утримувати позиції лідера на внутрішньому ринку дженерикових ветеринарних препаратів.
Для підвищення конкурентоспроможності продукції галузі ветеринарної фармації треба вирішити загальні завдання технологічного оновлення, пільгового кредитування та залучення інвестиційних ресурсів, підвищення ефективності науково-технічного забезпечення, а також підвищення стандартів якості на виробничих підприємствах, що передбачає сертифікацію виробництва за стандартами і запровадження правил GLP, GMP, GPP, GCP та ін.
Найактуальнішими з перелічених є завдання технологічного оновлення підприємств, які виготовляють ветеринарні біопрепарати, а також налагодження вітчизняного виробництва субстанцій і допоміжних речовин для виготовлення ветеринарних препаратів.
