The aim of the work. To study the structure of the range of antidepressants in accordance with the State Register of Medicines of Ukraine, and to analyze the ratio of foreign and domestic manufacturers and the production potential of Ukrainian pharmaceutical enterprises. To analyze the List of medicines of group N06A, which are subject to reimbursement under the Program of State Guarantees of Medical Care of the Population, and the importance of the government Program in martial law
Materials and methods. The research methodology was based on the analysis of data on antidepressants of group N06A from the State Register of Medicines of Ukraine (DR ЛЗ) as of 10/30/2025, as well as the List of medicines, which are subject to reimbursement under the program of state guarantees of medical care of the population (as of August 28, 2025). The structural analysis covered the following aspects: ATX classification, international non-proprietary name, dosage form, and country of manufacture of the drug. Systematization and generalization of information from official sources were carried out using statistical, logical, and graphical analyses.
Results and discussion. It was established that at the time of the study, 199 assortment items (AP) of drugs from the group N06A - Antidepressants were included in the DR of Ukraine. At the same time, the most represented drugs are subgroup N06AB10 - selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, Escitalopram (29.15%). Among the registered ADs, the vast majority are presented in the form of tablets and capsules; they are monopreparations. At the same time, 79.9% of AP ADs are of foreign production, the leader among which is India (17.59% of AP ADs). Domestic manufacturers produce the most drugs with the INN Escitalopram and Amitriptyline (total 15.58% of the AP AD). 9 pharmaceutical enterprises are involved in the production or in the primary, secondary packaging, or quality control of domestic ADs.
Conclusions. The results of the study of antidepressants presented in the State Register of Medicines of Ukraine showed a sufficient range of drugs of group N06A for rational pharmacotherapy of depressive states, GSD, and PTSD. A key direction for optimizing the range of ADs is to reduce import dependence and enhance the capacity of Ukrainian pharmaceutical production. Drugs of group N06A are included in the List of drugs subject to reimbursement under the state program of guarantees for medical care for the population, which allows for the provision of necessary pharmaceutical assistance free of charge or with a specified surcharge to the consumer.
