RESEARCH OF THE DOMESTIC MARKET OF HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES THAT AFFECT THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

The aim of the work is to analyze the national market of homeopathic medicines acting on the nervous system and to study their composition.
Materials and Methods. Materials: The State Register of Medicines of Ukraine, minimum and maximum retail prices for homeopathic medicines (HMs) of group N “Drugs acting on the nervous system” in pharmacies in Ternopil. Methods: information search, analysis, marketing research, generalization.
Results and Discussion. It has been found that as of March 1, 2025, 28 items of nervous system-acting drugs were registered on the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market, of which 35.7 % were manufactured in Ukraine. Segmentation of the studied group of OTC drugs by country and manufacturer, type of drug was carried out. The composition of the nervous system-acting drugs was studied, and the presence of 61 substances was established. Of these, 34 are plant-based APIs and 16 are mineral-based substances. The share of preparations of animal origin is 13.33 %, of which 5 are suis-organ preparations (8.33 %). The presence of 4 nosodes was established.. The homeopathic dilutions in which they are found and the number of repetitions are investigated. The assortment and depth of the inventory of the studied drugs in pharmacies in Ternopil was studied. The price situation in the market of this group of drugs was studied using such indicators as price liquidity ratio, solvency adequacy ratio.
Conclusions The assortment and composition of homeopathic medicines of group N "Drugs acting on the nervous system" on the domestic pharmaceutical market were studied. It was determined that the composition of homeopathic preparations in the studied group contains 60 substances, of which 56.67 % are of plant origin, 26.67 % are of mineral origin and 13.33 % are of animal origin. As a result of studying the price situation of the market of homeopathic medicines of this group, according to such indicators as the price liquidity coefficient and the solvency adequacy coefficient, it was established that the products are available on the market.
