The aim of the work: Theoretical justification and analysis of the educational process of acquiring hard and soft skills during the mastering of educational components in the Medical Devices Training Class in the context of modern requirements for healthcare professionals.
Materials and Methods. Legislative acts, higher education standards, publications of domestic scientists, public information on the official website of Ivan Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine were used. Content analysis, system analysis, graphical and generalisation methods were used.
Results and Discussion. A modern healthcare professional must have not only basic professional knowledge, but also be adaptable, sociable and capable of analytical thinking. The opening of the Medical Devices Training Class was an important step in helping students acquire hard and soft skills during practical classes at the Department of Pharmacy Management, Economics and Technology. During the course, students study the range of medical devices, their characteristics, classifications and application features, which contributes to the effective management of the range. Mastering the algorithms for the use of medical devices provides students with the practical experience necessary to work in pharmacies and healthcare facilities. Students master the methods of product quality assessment in accordance with applicable regulations and standards, including the National Classifier of Medical Devices NK 024:2023. In addition, practical classes contribute to the development of communication skills, critical thinking, teamwork and effective time management. Thus, the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical tasks ensures comprehensive training of future specialists for professional activities in the face of modern challenges.
Conclusions. Using the Medical Devices Training Class in the educational process contributes to the hard and soft skills' development of pharmaceutical and medical students, increasing their readiness to face real professional challenges. Future professionals will be able to adapt effectively to modern conditions, including working in crisis situations, by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical tasks and using innovative teaching methods.
