IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT SUPPLY SYSTEM IN HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS BASED ON DIGITALIZATION OF LOGISTICS PROCESSES

The aim of the work: development of scientifically based approaches to improving the management of pharmaceutical supply in healthcare institutions based on the digitalization of logistics processes to increase the reliability and continuity of pharmaceutical provision to patients and reduce the impact of crisis situations on their safety.
Materials and Methods: The research was conducted using materials from databases on the Internet: data from the websites of research companies "MINTRANS", "UkrVipService", "Strategic Market Research", "McKinsey&Company"; the National Institute for Strategic Studies, data from the UAReforms platform website, data from the website of the "Pharmacy Weekly" project, scientific and metric databases - Scopus, Web of Science. The research used methods of information search, systematization, comparison and generalization, as well as a graphical method to increase the clarity of the presentation of the material.
Results and Discussion. It has been determined that the logistics of pharmaceutical supply is the most important component of medical logistics and an integral element of effective management of material and related flows of healthcare institutions, which is aimed at rationalizing the processes of procurement, transportation, storage and distribution of medicines and medical devices. Effective organization of pharmaceutical supply chains contributes to improving the quality of medical services, reducing logistics costs and time losses, and increases the efficiency of responding to crisis situations. The main problems of pharmaceutical supply logistics in domestic healthcare institutions have been identified and analyzed, in particular: imperfection of inventory management mechanisms, lack of effective coordination between suppliers, insufficient integration of modern information technologies into logistics business processes, etc. Key vectors of medical logistics development have been identified that will influence the further modernization of the healthcare system, including the digitalization of logistics processes, increasing the level of supply automation, implementing predictive models for managing material and related flows, etc. An assessment of individual medical information systems containing specialized functional modules in medical logistics (including supply logistics), their advantages and disadvantages in the context of optimizing pharmaceutical supply to healthcare institutions has been carried out. An adaptive system for the logistics supply of pharmaceutical products for healthcare institutions has been proposed, which allows for a prompt response to changes in the external environment, increases the stability of pharmaceutical supply chains, and ensures the smooth functioning of healthcare institutions in a dynamic environment.
Conclusions. It has been proven that effective logistics for the supply of pharmaceutical products is a key element of the stable operation of the healthcare system, especially during crisis situations, including epidemics and military operations. Modern challenges require flexibility in logistics processes due to their digitalization and automation, which contributes to more accurate forecasting of healthcare institutions' needs for pharmaceutical products, effective management of their stocks, and cost optimization. The introduction of innovative approaches to medical logistics, including the logistics of supplying material and related flows, will contribute to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the healthcare system and increase its readiness for any challenges.
