The aim of the work. To conduct an analysis of medicinal products registered on the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine, which contain paracetamol in their composition.
Materials and Methods. The work is based on information obtained from the "State Register of Medicinal Products of Ukraine" website. The obtained data were processed and systematized using statistical, logical and graphic methods.
Results and Discussion. The pharmaceutical market of Ukraine contains a significant number of medicines with paracetamol and domestic manufacturers represent about 1/3 of its range, at the same time, there is no production of the substance. Paracetamol is known all over the world and has a significant number of dosage forms to cover the greatest possibilities of use in mono or combined composition. So, for example, today the combined compositions of "cold medicine" have gained popularity. However, there are dosage forms that are produced only in monoforms, they include: solution for injections, oral solution, suppositories, almost all suspensions.
Conclusions. On the basis of the review of literary sources and the analysis of the pharmaceutical market, a conclusion was made about the relevance of developing a prolonged form of paracetamol due to the formation of a matrix, which became the basis for further pharmaco-technological research to find the optimal composition of tablets.
