STUDY OF WOUND-HEALING MEDICINES ASSORTMENT ON PHARMACEUTICAL MARKET OF UKRAINE

The aim of the work. To investigate assortment of soft medicinal forms for healing of wounds and ulcerous lesions on pharmaceutical market of Ukraine, according to stage of wound process, pharmacological effect, auxiliary substances, possibility of using in pediatrics.
Materials and Methods. Objects of study were: State register of medicines, medical inserts. During research we used market research, economic-statistical, and graphical methods.
Results and Discussion. We determined structure of assortment of registered soft medicinal forms that leads to wound-healing according to pharmacological effect, stages of wound process, types of ointment base and possibility of using in pediatrics. It was found that in studied assortment of market, piece of dermatological medicines used on 1 stage of wound process that has antibacterial, hyperosmolar, reparative and anti-inflammatory abilities equals 16,1 %; for 1–2 stage – 55,6 %, for 2–3 stages 42,9 %. Analysis of medicines of D03 group by ointment base type showed prevalence of emulsion base (70%), in group D06 – hydrophilic base 33 %, hydrophobic base – 29 %, in group D08 – emulsion base – 40 % hydrophilic base – 30 %. Among 54 medicines in studied assortment, 72 % are recommended for using in pediatrics, according to the inserts; 20,4 % are counterindicated in children, and 7,4 % of medicines were not studied for safety and effectiveness for using in children.
Conclusions. For Ukrainian pharmaceutical market for today actuality remains in extending of range of soft wound-healing medicinal forms with complex effect, produced on different base and osmotic activity, safe for using in pediatrics.
