The aim of the work. To model the concept of pharmaceutical care (PhC) to patients with chronic prostatitis (CP).
Materials and Methods. The material of the study was the theoretical issues of organization of PhC to patients with CP. The methods of information search, critical analysis, concretization, generalization, analysis of quality management system (Ishikawa diagram) and modeling were used.
Results and Discussion. The causal model of PhC to patients with CP based on Ishikawa diagram was worked out. The implementation of this model through the integration of six main factors (key values, assortment of drugs, therapeutic concordance, choice of drugs, regulatory documents, monitoring of pharmacotherapy) and their components is expected to have a positive impact on the quality of life of the studied contingent of patients by improving the quality of providing them with drugs and increasing the physical and economic availability of the needed drugs. As the result it allows to solve such an important medical, social and economic problem as the optimizing of PhC to patients with CP.
Conclusion. The concept of PhC to the patients with CP is modeled on the basis of Ishikawa diagram. It allows to identify and group the conditions and factors that influence on the PhC process to patients with CP and to analyze the cause-and-effect in this process.
