The aim of the work – to highlight the historical ways of the formation and development of hemodynamics, sound and ultrasound methods of research as components of medical physics.
The main body. The article deals with the historical stages of the development of hemodynamics, sound and ultrasound research.
It is shown how the scientific picture of the world has changed for millennia, the complementarity and continuity of scientific knowledge are considered.
Noting the contribution to the development of science of previous generations of scientists who influenced the choice and direction of the pathways for the development of science and contributed to its progress, Isaac Newton wrote: “If I have seen further, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants”.
Conclusion. In the article the physical fundamentals of hemodynamics, historical stages of blood pressure determination, sound and ultrasonic methods of research are considered.References
