ORGANIZATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN THE ASSESSMENT OF GRADUATES

Abstract. Examining the opinions of higher education students serves as a good incentive to improve the educational process and enhance the internal quality assurance system of the university. We surveyed 297 students, divided into four groups based on their year of study. A questionnaire consisted of 21 questions. A total of 85.9% of respondents were fully satisfied with the social and living conditions provided by the university for adaptation to the student environment. Some complaints were noted by 11.5% of the respondents, while only 2.6% of students were dissatisfied with the conditions. It is undoubtedly positive that 92.9% of students are satisfied with the quality of the educational process at ZSMPhU. According to 72.9% of respondents, there are no shortcomings in the organization of the educational process. The proportion of students dissatisfied with the quality of education amounts to 7.2%. We are pleased to note that 92.2% of respondents have adequate conditions for acquiring practical skills. However, 31.4% of students believe there are shortcomings in the conditions provided for mastering the practical skills of their future profession. Despite 57.6% of respondents considering the assessment to be objective, we identified a group of 37.4% who stated that the assessment by teachers during classes and exams is not entirely objective. A total of 66.6% of students have never encountered academic dishonesty from teachers. The number of students who have personally experienced dishonesty (under 9.8%) or have heard about it from their peers (under 16.1%) is steadily decreasing. A total of 53.5% of respondents adhere to the principles of student integrity. The further development and refinement of existing measures and methods for practically oriented education, with special consideration of student preferences, holds great potential.
