MODERNIZATION OF THE TEACHING OF CLINICAL ANATOMY IN MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION OF UKRAINE

Abstract

Abstract. The article provides a comparative analysis of the main directions and approaches to teaching clinical anatomy at universities in North America, the European Union, and Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to analyze the causes, consequences, and possible ways to overcome the distance between the teaching of clinical anatomy in the higher medical school of Ukraine and the global trends in the training of doctors, and, based on the research of scientists and own experience, to propose the correction of curricula and teaching methods in accordance with the world standards of the quality of knowledge taking into account national characteristics in the conditions of martial law. The given material aims to draw the attention of the medical community to the fact of the restructuring of higher medical education in Ukraine without taking into account national traditions and heritage. Peculiarities of the modern definition of the educational discipline, its three structural interrelated components – systemic, topographic (regional) and clinical anatomy – have been studied. On the basis of programs, textbooks and manuals of foreign and domestic authors, the main world trends of didactic approaches and principles of teaching clinical anatomy were considered, their advantages and disadvantages were determined. The prospects for a radical reform of the teaching of human anatomy in medical universities of Ukraine are outlined. It is proposed to use a systematic approach in teaching general anatomy with a description of the structure and function of human body systems, and to apply a topographical approach to teaching the detailed structure of the human body when developing a typical cross-curricular curriculum for the disciplines "Human Anatomy" and "Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery" under martial law. , clinical – for teaching the anatomical foundations of clinical disciplines.
