Abstract. The diagnostic process of mental illness differs from that in clinic of internal medicine. The difference is that patients with psychopathological disorders can hide their individual complaints, experiences. To verify the diagnosis advice of physician, neurologist and other specialists can be used. The main complaints are grouped into symptoms, syndromes, including the results of objective examination, medical history, life, the dynamics of the disease.
