Abstract

The article presents the experience of the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry of Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy, assessment of the quality of training of dental students-undergraduates by means of test control of the knowledge level. The most effective tool for assessing the quality of the results of the educational process is an individual approach to checking the knowledge of future doctors.

In modern technologies of training, when the stage of control of theoretical knowledge has a steady tendency to decrease, simultaneous group testing at the preparatory and final stages of the lesson allows you to maximize the coverage of educational material and immediately establish feedback with students to determine the results of assimilation.

The necessity of carrying out thematic test control is proved; the characteristic of an assessment of this type of teaching activity by students-graduates is presented.

The analysis of the results of an anonymous survey of 88 dental students of senior courses indicates the need for thematic test control, taking into account the individual approach to each future doctor.
