The aim of the work – to estimate the level of biosafety of the country regions by the influence of the medical-demographic, social, environmental determinants of the human life environment on the infectious diseases prevalence.
The article presents a view on the problem of biosafety, proposes a methodology for assessing its level, and defines the requirements for the formation of the indicator list, the method for its standardization and aggregation procedures. The results of the regional rating assessment by the integral indicator of the biosafety level are presented.
Conclusion. The administrative territories of Ukraine differ by the level of biosafety.
