Abstract

Using the principle of "dose-response" in a cluster analysis of the prevalence of infectious and parasitic diseases in children of Ukraine at the age of 0-14 years, discovers mortality deceleration with a significant increase in the prevalence of the disease. It also showed a significant reduction in mortality, as well as favorable changes in viability. This phenomenon is only partially associated with the peculiarities of the regions, which recorded an increase in the prevalence of the disease, it is not associated with the model of the "predator-prey" (for Lotko-Volterra). Inhibition of mortality at the population level is realized and finds similarities with the changes that occur in infectious and parasitic diseases in adolescents, as well as non-communicable diseases (coronary heart disease, diabetes) in older people.
