LIME BORRELIOSIS IN FORES TRY WOR KERS OF TERNO PIL REGION

SUMMARY. 339 forestry workers of Ternopil region replied
to questions of a unified international questionnaire.
The prevalence of infection of B. Burgdorferi in this
group of people was studied. The analysis of results
of serological tests based on job category was made.
The prevalence of specific anti Borrelia burgdorferi
sensu lato (B. burgdorferi sensu stricto, B. afzeliі та B.
garinii) antibodies IgM and/or IgG obtained in 43,1 %
forestry workers.
