Abstract

SUMMARY. The biographical data and creative work of S. S. Dyachenko – the founder of the Ukrainian School of Medical Microbiologists, Honored Scientist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, tireless researcher of causative agents of enterobacterial infections, serous meningitis, sclerosis, typhus, paratyphoid, salmonellosis, leptospirosis, immunogenesis and pathogenesis of the pathological process.
