EMERGENCY PREVENTION OF RABIES AND ITS COMPLICATIONS

Abstract

SUMMARY. Information on the epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinic of rabies in animals and humans, as well as emergency specific prevention of this disease is given. The example of a clinical case shows the possibility of the development of serum sickness after the use of heterologous antirabies immunoglobulin, as well as the occurrence of this complication in the case of the use of the specified drug without sufficient indications for this.
