Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze clinical features and treatment of multisystem inflammatory syndrome associated with SARS-CoV-2 based on the example of a clinical case in a boy of an early school age.

This work represents the dynamics of clinical manifestations, laboratory and instrumental parameters in a child with Kawasaki-like disease associated with COVID-19 during his inpatient treatment in the intensive care unit of the Ternopil City Children’s Municipal Hospital. General practitioners should be focused on the importance of timely diagnosis of the rare but potentially severe multisystem inflammatory syndrome associated with COVID-19 in children.
