Abstract

The aim of the study was to analyze the peculiarities of the measles course in combination with other infectious diseases in children on the example of clinical cases.

The article describes the dynamics of measles clinical course in patients with tick-borne borreliosis and HIV infection during hospital treatment in the Infectious Boxed Department of Air-dropped Infections of the Chernivtsi Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital.

It was found that during combination of measles and tick-borne borreliosis, typical clinical symptoms of both diseases with increased erythema migrans were observed on the background of macular-papular rash. The course of pneumonia as the complicated measles at an immunocompromised HIV-infected child with aggressive combination antibacterial and antiretroviral therapy was characterized by a positive prognosis.
