Infectious Diseases is an open-access journal; all its content is available free of charge to all individuals and institutions.

Access Rights

All articles published under open access will be free to read, download, copy, and distribute.

User Rights

Third-party reuse is permitted as defined by the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. This allows users to copy, extract, abstract, and create new texts from the article, as well as alter, revise, and use the article for commercial purposes, provided that the user:

• Includes an appropriate citation of authorship (with a link to the official publication via the corresponding DOI);
• Provides a link to the license;
• Indicates if any changes were made.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright along with scholarly usage rights, while the journal Infectious Diseases is granted the rights for publication and distribution.
