Complaints Policy

The Editorial Board of the journal Infectious Diseases (Infektsiini khvoroby) responds to all complaints promptly and constructively. Each case is investigated thoroughly based on its nature and complexity, and final decisions are made in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Submission of Complaints Proposals or complaints should be sent to the journal's official email address: journal@tdmu.edu.ua. All communications will be reviewed within 30 business days. However, depending on the complexity of the complaint, the applicant will be notified if additional time is required to complete the investigation.

Requirements for Complaints A complaint must be concise, specific, and contain sufficient data to demonstrate a potential breach of publication ethics. Whenever possible, supporting documentation should be provided to substantiate the specific request.

Scope and Conduct

  • Personal Complaints: For complaints directed at authors, editors, reviewers, or the Editorial Board, a response will be provided outlining the reasons if the matter is deemed to fall outside the journal's scope of responsibility.
  • Code of Conduct: The journal reserves the right to decline an investigation if complaints are submitted in an abusive, threatening, or defamatory manner.
