The aim of the work: based on a specific clinical example of balloon pyloroduodenal plasty in the treatment of decompensated duodenal stenosis of ulcerative genesis, to draw the attention of surgeons to possible complications and methods of their elimination.
Endoscopic balloon pyloroduodenal plasty and a combination of laparoscopic mobilization of the pyloroduodenal junction with selective proximal vagotomy and pyloroduodenal plasty are effective and alternative methods in the treatment of stenoses of ulcer genesis compared to open surgical interventions. According to the literature, complications are possible when using minimally invasive techniques. Two-stage surgical treatment, a complication in the presented clinical case, turned out to be justified and effective.
