Objective: To determine the effectiveness of the drug "Defensal" to prevent formation of adhesions in experimental conditions
Materials in Methods: Laboratory studied 84 sexually mature male albino rats weighing 172-180 g, which were divided into 8 groups. Group 1 consisted of six experimental animals that were in common vivarium conditions; in group 2, laparotomy was performed on 6 rats; 3rd, 4th and 5th group - 12 experimental animals modeled adhesive disease with euthanasia on the 4th, 10th and 30th day of the disease respectively; in 6th, 7th and 8th Group - a research on 12 rats which modeled adhesive disease using “defensal” was done euthanasia on the 4th, 10th and 30th day of the experiment, respectively.
Results and discussion: complex morphological techniques used used (macroscopic, histological, morphometry) in the dynamics of adhesions. The research and findings indicated that the drug "Defensal" had positive impact on the course of experimental adhesive disease. In the last correction it was indicated that the drugs were used on abdominal cavity of experimental animals significantly reduced the number of visceral-parietal and parietal-parietal adhesion, most of them formed threadlike, loose, tends to decrease the thickness in the dynamics of the disease, and did not easily deformed hollow organs of the digestive system and did not affect their function. These solderings were rarely observed in vessels and nervous elements. These data confirmed the efficacy of the drug "Defensal" as a barrier method of prevention of adhesion formation, allowing safe usage of proposed tool in clinical practice.
