Studies were conducted on laboratory white male rats, who were divided into 2 groups: control and experimental. The experimental group of animals was carried out by deleting parotid and mandibular glands. Results of the study indicate that after one-stage bilateral removal of the parotid and mandibular glands in the hiposalivation background in structural elements of the wall of the stomach of rats is perceptible structural reorganization, which is the progressive development of dystrophic, atrophic processes in the gastric mucosa with metaplastic transformation of glandular epithelium and simultaneous hypertrophic-hyperplastic changes in the muscle layer.
