LAPAROSCOPIC HEPATICOJEJUNOSTOMY IN TREATMENT FOR ADVANCED PERIAMPULLARY TUMORS WITH OBSTRUCTIVE JAUNDICE
DOI:

9 laparoscopic hepaticojejunostomies for advanced pancreatic head cancer with obstructive jaundice were performed in the
National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology named after O. O. Shalimov of NAMS of Ukraine for the period from
2011 to 2016 were performed. In 6 patients laparoscopic hepaticojejunostomy was performed as a palliative operation and
3 as a fi rst step before radical surgery. The survival rate was (352±110.4) days and dependent for histological structure and
tumor localization. In 3 cases, the patient successfully underwent pancreatoduodenal resection in a period from 2 to 4 weeks
after laparoscopic hepaticojejunostomy. In patients discharged without complications, repeated hospitalizations or lethal
cases weren’t observed. Laparoscopic hepaticojejunostomy is a good alternative to the traditional methods and combines all
advantages of mini-invasive surgery.
