This research was based on a retrospective analysis of 34 morphological studies in patients with chronic pancreatitis complicated by pseudocysts (PC). The research allowed to find out issues about the nature of pathological changes in pancreatic parenchyma and duct of patients with PC with different degrees of pancreatic fibrosis. A significant correlation between diffuse fibrosis and pathological changes in pancreas, namely main pancreatic duct lithiasis, parenchymal calcification and retention cysts was established.References
