The aim of the work: to evaluate the results of surgical treatment of patients with complicated cholecystoduodenal fistulas after various types of surgical interventions.
Materials and Methods. А retrospective analysis of 17 patients operated on in the surgical department of the Ternopil City Emergency Hospital for complicated cholecystoduodenal fistula in the form of biliary ileus was performed. In one of the clinical cases, we encountered an extremely difficult situation that required an extraordinary solution.
Results and Discussion. The presence of the triad: advanced or senile age of the patient; signs of obstruction of the small intestine: a tumor of stony density in the abdominal cavity during palpation, especially when there is information about the housing and communal services in the anamnesis, is the basis for establishing a clinical diagnosis of biliary obstruction of the small intestine. In previous works, we analyzed in detail the features of the course, diagnosis and surgical treatment of acute biliary obstruction of the small intestine and Bouveret syndrome.
