The brief report describes a rare case of hidden dislocation of the shoulder joint against the background of total damage to the brachial plexus and a fracture of the clavicle, which was accidentally diagnosed during the fourth month of treatment. The peculiarity of this case is that the musculature around the shoulder joint, the so-called muscle cuff, lost its tone, which caused the instability of the shoulder bone with the subsequent dislocation of the shoulder joint. Since all attention was focused on the treatment of the clavicle fracture, special attention was not paid to the relationship in the shoulder joint. Uncontrolled dislocation of the shoulder, damage to the brachial plexus caused significant functional disorders of the right hand, which after such a long period are subject to complex reconstruction with not always desirable results.
