Pyoderma gangrenosum is a rare extraintestinal manifestation of non-specific ulcerative colitis. It was found that pyoderma gangrenosum develops in 0.6–2.1 % of patients with ulcerative colitis. It occurs in the form of one or more erythematous papules or pustules which subsequently cause necrosis of derma and deep septic ulcers. Pyoderma gangrenosum can occur simultaneously with the onset of ulcerative colitis, or can develop independently of it. The article presents the results of our own clinical observation of a case of pyoderma gangrenosum in a patient with non-specific ulcerative colitis, the clinical course of the disease, and the peculiarities of treatment. It has been discovered that pyoderma gangrenosum as an extraintestinal manifestation of non-specific ulcerative colitis is extremely rare, and it is characterized by the presence of a complex, often recurrent difficult to treat.
