The article provides an example of a developed and clinically implemented method of surgical treatment of inguinal hernias, based on the concept of “tension free”. The basis of this modification was the well-known method of hernioplasty according to Desarda, as one of the most physiological and adapted to the anatomy of the groin. This modification allows you to form a reinforced posterior wall of the inguinal canal without tissue tension, and also provides additional fixation of the mesh implant to the posterior wall, which further reduces the risk of recurrence. Thus, it can be used in patients of different ages.
