Aim of the Journal

The aim of the journal is to disseminate up-to-date scientific knowledge in the field of surgery and related medical disciplines, to highlight the results of fundamental, clinical, and experimental research, and to promote the implementation of innovative approaches to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of surgical diseases.

OBJECTIVES OF THE JOURNAL

The main objectives of the journal are:

• To publish the results of актуальних scientific studies across various fields of modern surgery (abdominal, vascular, thoracic surgery, oncologic surgery, transplantation, etc.).
• To facilitate the implementation of evidence-based medicine and modern clinical protocols into surgical practice.
• To present the latest methods of diagnosis, surgical treatment, and postoperative patient management.
• To disseminate practical experience of surgeons through the publication of clinical cases and case series.
• To promote the development of experimental research in surgery and related medical fields.
• To provide a platform for scientific discussion, exchange of experience, and sharing research findings among scientists and practicing physicians.
• To adhere to the principles of academic integrity, ethical standards, and international requirements for scientific publications.
• To improve the quality of scientific research through independent peer review and editorial control.
• To integrate Ukrainian surgical science into the international scientific community.
