The aim of the work. Study of the influence of excipients on the pharmaco-technological parameters of powder masses and tablets based on lyophilized drone brood homogenate powder in order to develop the composition of tablets.
Materials and Methods. Active pharmaceutical ingredient – lyophilized drone brood homogenate powder, as well as excipients such as Prosolv SMCC 90, МСС 102, Ludipress, Emdex dextrates, sodium carboxymethyl starch, Neusilin US 2, Neusilin UFL, calcium phosphate dibasic, sodium lauryl sulfate, calcium stearate, citric acid. Tablets were obtained by direct compression. Studies of the effect of excipients on the pharmaco-technological parameters of powder masses and tablets were carried out in accordance with the methods regulated by the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
Results and Discussion. Studies have shown that close in value were the reviews on bulk density, compression of tablets and their average weight. Given that the results obtained in the study of the angle of natural slope of the powder masses, the homogeneity of the mass of the tablets, the tabletʼs hardness, abrasion and disintegration time, were different, according to these reviews built scattering diagrams.
Conclusions. The application of the random balance method allowed to determine the most significant quantitative factors and stabilize them at optimal levels in the developed tablets with lyophilized drone brood homogenate powder in order to ensure quality in accordance with the requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia of Ukraine.
