The aim of the work. Analysis of the dynamics of the availability of insulin in Ukraine, which includes the reimbursement system (2016 - 2021). Development of recommendations to pharmacists for consultation.
Materials and Methods. Scientific and official sources of information about insulin. Biblosymantic, marketing, analytical, graphic, summarizing analyses were used.
Results and Discussion. Marketing research has shown a stable presence of insulin, which includes the reimbursement program in Ukraine. Comparative analysis for the period 2016 – 2021 has shown a positive trend (an increase of 9.2%) in the amount of insulin due to an increase in foreign offers. Nowadays there are 71 different types of insulin, including innovative types of insulin. Number of insulins-pen doubled in the period. We developed a set of recommendations for the release of insulin.
Conclusions. The study shows stability in the assortment of insulin in the reimbursement program in Ukraine. Recommendation for pharmacists for providing pharmaceutical care to patients with diabetes was developed.
