COMPETENCE AND INTEGRATIVE APPROACH IN THE TRAINING OF FUTURE PHARMACISTS

The aim of the work – to describe modern methods of teaching the disciplines of professional training cycle to the students of the pharmaceutical faculty and to disclose the peculiarities of their introduction into the educational process.
The main body. The article presents the analysis of scientific and methodical literature and our own experience of using the competency and integrative approaches in the educational process at the Pharmacy Department of M. Pyrohov Vinnytsia National Medical University. The use of interdisciplinary integration in educational activities involves the construction of logical generalizations in the sequential study of program disciplines. Thus, an integrative approach is an important element of student skills. The ways of formation of the most important professional competences of future pharmacists are cognitive, analytical and communicative. The types of work and possible methodical approaches, the use of which during the educational process allows to train a highly skilled specialist is presented. An important element is working with situational tasks and modeling the elements of professional activity. In this case, great importance is given to the practical training of students, which consists in the manufacture of medical forms by prescriptions, the conduct of documentation of financial and economic activity, the development of material balances and technological schemes.
The formation of professional competences is also facilitated by the individual independent work of students. The execution of scientific works under the supervision of a scientific leader deepens knowledge of discipline, intensifies creative and research potential.
Conclusion. The use of innovative educational methods in the educational process increases the level of students’ knowledge and interest in the chosen profession.
