Abstract

Abstract. The article reveals the methodological foundations of the interdisciplinary approach to the study of professional disciplines – «Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing», «Pharmaceutical Legislation», and «Introduction to Pharmacy» – in the process of training future Masters of Pharmacy. A generalized description and analytical evaluation of the academic courses taught at the Medical and Pharmaceutical Faculty of Bukovinian State Medical University have been determined. It is shown that interdisciplinarity contributes to the holistic formation of the competencies of future specialists in the pharmaceutical field, ensuring the integration of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and a professional worldview. The content of these disciplines is aimed at enabling students to master basic and specialized concepts, categories, methods, and technologies that define professional activity in the pharmaceutical sector. Through the study of these disciplines, students move from general theoretical training to applied professional thinking, which allows future specialists to navigate the legal framework of pharmaceutical activities, make effective managerial decisions, develop marketing analysis skills, and adhere to ethical standards of the profession. The study of these academic disciplines in the context of interdisciplinarity contributes not only to mastering knowledge from related fields but also to forming the ability to integrate this knowledge into the practical activity of the Master of Pharmacy, ensuring readiness to work in the modern pharmaceutical environment characterized by a high level of dynamics, competition, and regulatory changes. This approach forms in higher education applicants a comprehensive vision of professional activity, develops the ability to analyze problems from the perspective of various scientific fields, make integrated decisions, and implement the principles of evidence-based pharmaceutical practice. The formation of systemic thinking and professional competencies requires scientifically grounded pedagogical conditions and effective methods for implementing interdisciplinary learning in the training of Masters of Pharmacy.
