The aim of the work – covering the background for introduction of national qualification examination as a part of healthcare industry reforming and higher medical education in particular.
The main body. The attestation of the applicants for Master Degree in specialties of department of knowledge “22 Healthcare Service” will be carried out in the form of national qualification examination, which consists of the following components: integrated test examination “KROK”, objective structured practical (clinical) examination, international examination on elementary medicine, examination on professionally oriented English. The attestation may also be conducted in other forms defined by the higher education standard. The main principles of compiling a national qualification examination are: objectivity, transparency and publicity, independence, antipathy toward corruption and bribery, integration into international educational and scientific space, obligingness.
Conclusion. Thus, the introduction of national qualification examination will allow taking full assessment of graduates’ knowledge and skills.
