Abstract

The aim of the work – to represent the implementation of simulation technologies into the educational process of medical students in the Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine “Bukovynian State Medical University”.

The main body. In October of 2015, the staff of the Higher State Educational Establishment of Ukraine “Bukovynian State Medical University” joined the ERASMUS + project ТАМЕ (Training Against Medical Error), based on the problem-based learning (PBL) methodology.

One of the innovative interactive training technologies used in the BSMU within the TAME project is the creation of “virtual patients”.

The use of this innovative technology encourages students to self-confidence and development of teamwork skills, which will further reduce the risks of erroneous actions and decisions in practice.

Conclusion. The effectiveness of simulation training implementation within professional development of doctors is proved.
