MODERN PECULIARITIES OF MEDICAL EDUCATION PARADIGM IN UKRAINE

The aim of the work – to substantiate features of the modern paradigm of medical education.
The main body. Trend of development of holistic education model is defined by educational paradigm, which is a dynamic conceptual scheme-model of problem setting and solving; a united system of theoretical, methodological and axiological settings. Peculiarities of modern paradigm of medical education include democracy, humanity, increase of self-education role, important technocratic component, integrity and internationalization. We can overcome problems of education by stimulation of self-education with motivation increase, activation of divergent thinking, practical and social orientation of educational process, combination of classical methods of tutoring with innovational hi-tech methods, increase of human and material resources quality.
Conclusions. The peculiarities of the modern paradigm of medical education include democracy, human centering and the growth of the role of self-education, a significant technocratic component, integrity and internationalization. Problems of education may be overcome by stimulating self-education with increasing motivation, activating divergent thinking, practical and social orientation of learning, combining classical teaching methods with the latest high-tech, improving the quality of staffing and methodological provision of educational process.
