ANALYSIS OF THE SURVEY OF IFNMU STUDENTS ON COMPLETION OF STUDY COURSE “OPERATIVE SURGERY AND TOPOGRAPHIC ANATOMY”

The aim of the study – researching of opinion students’ on the organization of educational process on completion of their training at the Department of Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery
Materials and methods. Research is based on the analysis of questionnaires the third year students of the Medical Faculty of Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University.
Results and discussion. The article analyzes the results of a survey of third year students of medical faculty in IFNMU on completion of study discipline Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy. Questions have been raised in the questionnaire related to the educational process at the Department of Clinical Anatomy and Operative Surgery in terms of credit-transfer system, conducting practical classes, implementation and assimilation of medical faculty students practical skills. At the same time for the purpose of clarification "survival knowledge" to students in the questionnaire included two questions on the likely responses of the themes of the last module. The survey results showed prospect of further improvement of the educational process on discipline Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy at the medical faculty. At this stage, students can learn practical skills, which then become part of the diagnostic or therapeutic process. This discipline is an important transitional link between theoretical and clinical disciplines. As shown by the survey students wish to devote more time on practical skills, techniques off their performance, focusing on security and the possibility of practical skills. Constant dialogue with the student audience positively affect the organization of educational process in a credit-transfer system, which is implemented inUkraine by the Bologna Declaration. This is not only contrary, but allows students to develop additional motivation to learn, increase their desire for self-education and improvement, constant updating of their knowledge – behind the reform of higher education, which is held inUkraine.
Conclusion. Questionnaire, which was held at the department, demonstrated ways to improve the teaching of discipline Operative Surgery and Topographic Anatomy at present, allowed to develop new approaches to working out practical skills of students to help further students studying fullness clinical disciplines.
