The aim of the study – to learn basic concepts due to clinical thinking in senior year students of foreign faculty during studying of Pediatrics.
Materials and Methods. The scientific works and our teaching experience over the last ten years were analyzed.
Results and Discussion. The term “clinical thinking” refers to the intellectual processing of patient’s data, which helps physician in short terms to confirm concrete diagnosis, to assign additional methods of investigations, and plan of treatment. It is known that therapeutic measures for the patient, as well as its consequences, depends on “cognitive failure”, therefore physician can’t be self-developed. The main components of clinical thinking for the medical student include: axioms, statements of medical science statements; and information about the patient. However, foreign student, during studying of the clinical disciplines, has problems in development of clinical thinking: language barrier, deficiency of theoretical and practical knowledge of basic subjects, deficit of time to work with student's mistakes because of working Program of Pediatrics.
Conclusion. Organization of university clinics with good laboratory and instrumental equipment, and differential approaches to practical classes (tests Krok types I and II, work near the bed of the patient, in training center, participance of the student in hospital work and scientific conferences under the supervision of the teacher) could help to improve the general state.
