Abstract

The aim of the stady – to find solutions of the identified main problems in teaching students, including foreign, using video cases

Matherials and Methods. The research is based on the study materials obtained from public sources and use of training videos created in the department of psychiatry, general and medical psychology SE “Dnipropetrovsk Medical Academy”.

Results and Discussion. The authors present their own experience of practical use training videos as video cases. The exemplary structure of lessons is given. The results of using educational films as video case are discussed.

Conclusion. Using educational video “Assessing mental status” as a video case study improves the quality of student learning and forms competence in the discipline “Psychiatry. Narcology”.
