Abstract. The Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) is a crucial tool for assessing the professional competencies of medical graduates. One of the stations in this exam is "Providing Assistance to a Patient with Emergency Conditions in a Hospital Setting." High-quality preparation of methodological documentation for this station plays an essential role in shaping students' practical skills and ensuring objective assessment. This article examines the main challenges associated with the development of methodological materials, in particular the need to adhere to a single algorithm for creating documentation, the necessity of considering modern international standards, and the rapid obsolescence of clinical protocols. The structure of methodological materials is described, including the station passport, standardized clinical scenarios, checklists, and assessment criteria. The main stages of documentation development are outlined, including an analysis of international experience, adaptation to national realities, and pilot testing of developed materials in the educational process. Significant attention is given to the need for regular updates of methodological materials in accordance with changes in emergency care protocols. A mechanism for integrating simulation technologies into the educational process is proposed, allowing for enhanced scenario realism and improved student preparedness for real clinical situations. The role of standardized clinical cases in conducting OSCEs and their impact on the development of communication skills in graduates is also examined. The evaluation criteria for the "Providing Assistance to a Patient with Emergency Conditions in a Hospital Setting" station are analyzed in detail. Recommendations are provided for optimizing methodological approaches to enhance exam efficiency, including the development of multi-level scenarios tailored to different student training levels and the use of digital technologies for automated assessment.
