Abstract

Abstract. The article outlines modern approaches to improving educational programs of the specialty “Therapy and Rehabilitation” in terms of forming the future specialist competencies to work with neurological patients. It is noted that the need to modernize educational programs is due to the rapid development of the specialty “Therapy and Rehabilitation” and the complex and dynamic structure of the neurological profile morbidity. Such conditions lead to the need to train a large number of various specialization specialists and constantly improve their professional skills. Certain methodological concepts of forming educational programs in the specialty “Therapy and Rehabilitation” are revealed. In particular, attention is focused on the analysis of the structural-logical hierarchy concepts, fundamentalization and specialization of higher education, and the competency approach. It is noted that the analysis of educational programs indicates the presence of a wide approach variety in building a structural-logical axis of the student competence formation in working with neurological patients, which is a manifestation of the concept implementation of higher education institution autonomy and emphasizes the unique component and features of educational programs. It is noted that the complexity of the neurological incidence structure and the multifacetedness of methodological approaches in educational activities in the training of specialists has led to the emergence of a huge educational component variety the coordination of the hierarchy of which in the structural-logical schemes of educational programs is an urgent problem. The ways (options) of solving this problem in higher education institutions in the context of educational component modernizing the content and their coordination in the structural and logical schemes in educational programs in the specialty “Therapy and Rehabilitation” are substantiated.
