THE EXPERIENCE OF CASE STUDY METHOD USAGE IN PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL STUDENTS TRAINING

Abstract

The article discusses the expedience of case studies usage as a modern pedagogical technology for medical disciplines. The efficiency of using the interactive case study method to improve the quality of education in institution of higher education is proved. The use of case study as a multifunctional educational method is characterized by its significant intellectual potential and higher opportunities. It is stated that implementation of method for medical students training is based on its ability to form professional competencies of future specialists. The use of interactive methods with multimedia support significantly improves the perception and understanding of issues in practical training and has a positive effect on strengthening the cognitive activity of students. Teacher that uses multimedia tools during practical lessons contributes to increase studentsʼ motivation and activity, opening new opportunities for the educational process. Skillful usage of modern interactive methods facilitates communication between teacher and students that significantly improves the educational process.
